THE PARLIAMENTARY STANDING COMMITTEE ON TOURISM

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Land, Natural Resources and Tourism has directed the Saadani National Park Management to prepare a specific plan to classify investment areas to attract investors.

The Tanzanian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Lands, Natural Resources and Tourism has directed the management of Saadani National Park to develop a detailed plan to classify investment areas in order to attract potential investors. The move is part of the committee’s efforts to enhance the park’s potential for sustainable development and economic growth.

In addition, the Parliamentary Standing Committee has also urged the Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) to prioritise tourism promotion activities with a view to increasing the inflow of tourists and subsequently boosting revenues from the tourism sector.
