We had a wonderful and important opportunity to listen to and resolve the concerns of the people of Lugarawa District; this exercise is sustainable for the whole district as we believe in making sure that we listen to our citizens to be able to give them answers to all their important issues.
This includes further interpretation of government policies and strategies on the implementation of its plans in relevant areas, the resolution of challenges, especially with immediate responses to the actual situation and its current and long term solutions.
All this is done with the great cooperation of the Ludewa District Chief Executive, the Ludewa Member of Parliament, the Director of the Ludewa District Council – all government institutions in the Ludewa District. Chama Cha Mapinduzi in parallel with the private sector and development stakeholders.
All points were received and responded to, and Ludewa Member of Parliament Mr Joseph Kamonga.
He had a great opportunity to address the public and explain various issues related to Lugarawa County.
I am more and more grateful for the great cooperation we have and all the work we are doing for our union.
The main goal is to fulfil the honour of President . Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan to ensure that citizens get the best service, development and prosperity in all their activities.

LUGARAWA DISTRICT NUTRITION CONFERENCE
I had the opportunity to attend the Lugarawa District Nutrition Conference which brought together the entire leadership of Lugarawa District, Lugarawa District Nutrition Stakeholders – health service providers together with the people of Lugarawa District.
This was an educational event aimed at motivating and educating the community on the importance of good nutrition for pregnant women, lactating women, adolescents and society in general.
The Regional Head of Njombe – Honourable Anthony Mtaka, as our Regional Head and leader of the Nutrition Campaign in Njombe Region, spoke to this audience on the phone – touching on the important areas, with a particular focus on good nutrition and stable nutrition management for the family and the whole community.
This is a continuation of the effective, integrated campaign to address the problems of poor nutrition, especially stunting in children under five in Njombe Region, and we are increasingly implementing it in Ludewa District – ward by ward.
Our proposed strategies include changing unhealthy behaviours, educating the community, improving access to health services and ensuring that our families prioritise child and pregnant women’s nutrition to ensure a sustainable way of addressing and overcoming these challenges.
Motto: “Filling the stomach is not nutrition, be careful what you feed it”.
“My food: My success”.
