The Iftar event, organised by UVCCM TZ, the youth wing of Tanzania’s ruling party CCM (Chama Cha Mapinduzi) in collaboration with the Qur-an An-Nujuum preservation institution, was held at the Karimjee Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The event brought together various leaders and believers to break their fast and offer special prayers for the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan. The event was organised by UVCCM Taifa in collaboration with Madrasat Annujum Litahfidh Al Qur-an.
The General Secretary of CCM addressed the participants, stressing the importance of unity and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan. He encouraged everyone to unite in prayer for the wellbeing and success of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The event provided a platform for leaders and believers to connect and strengthen their bonds through shared faith and devotion.
CCM Youth Vice President Comrade Rehema Sombi (MNEC) also spoke at the iftar, echoing the sentiments of unity and solidarity. She emphasised the importance of coming together as a community to support and uplift the President through prayers and positive energy.
