The Inspector General of Police, The Inspector General of Police, IGP Camillus Wambura, has requested that police officers adhere to the values espoused by the Police Force, including discipline, justice, professionalism, and integrity.

On 18 May 2024, IGP Wambura made this statement while wearing the badge of 27 officers, inspectors, and police officers of various ranks in Dar es Salaam.

Furthermore, IGP Wambura has stated that the mission of the Police Force is to become an exemplary, modern and efficient force that provides accurate and valuable services to the public.

Furthermore, he requested that the soldiers recognise the manner in which the government has decided to enhance the Army and thus work with diligence, professionalism, discipline, honesty and integrity.
“Let us direct our attention to the provision of services designed to reduce the number of complaints. Furthermore, the soldiers were instructed to act as property owners in the execution of their daily duties.

Muliro, on behalf of the officers, inspectors, and soldiers who were awarded the badges today, stated that the badges serve as an incentive to foster morale among the military personnel, thereby encouraging them to continue performing their duties in a professional and accurate manner.

SACP Muliro further stated that they would act in a professional manner and adhere to the law, justice, and serve the people by ensuring their safety.
