LUDEWA PRESS CONFERENCE – THREE YEARS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA,HER EXCELLENCEY DR. SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN
I recently attended a press conference in Ludewa District where party and government leaders gathered to discuss the achievements of President Samia Suluhu Hassan over the past three years. The event highlighted the progress made in various sectors in Ludewa District, including
LUDEWA DISTRICT COUNCIL
Ludewa District Council has allocated over 19 billion Tanzanian shillings to implement key projects in education, health, community development and administration. These investments are aimed at improving the overall wellbeing of the people of Ludewa District.
WATER SECTOR
Ludewa District has undertaken the implementation of seven water projects at a total cost of 13,866,290,252.86 Tanzanian Shillings. The completion of these projects is expected to increase the rural water coverage from 74.3% to 79.7% and ensure 100% access to safe water for the residents of Ludewa town.
TARURA
To improve transport infrastructure, Ludewa District has allocated more than 6 billion Tanzanian shillings for road projects. These initiatives are being implemented by the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) and aim to improve connectivity and accessibility within the district.
TANZANIAN ROADS
In addition, the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROAD) has invested over 4 billion Tanzanian shillings in road projects. These efforts are focused on improving the road network in Ludewa District, further enhancing transport and connectivity for residents.
These initiatives reflect the commitment of President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan and her administration to the development and progress of Ludewa District. The investment in education, health, community development, administration, water and transport is vital to the overall wellbeing and prosperity of the district’s residents.
