[su_dropcap style=”flat” size=”5″]I[/su_dropcap]n a recent directive, the Mwanza Regional Head of Tanzania, Hon. Said Mtanda, has tasked the Regional Administrative Secretary with collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer to implement an electronic system for managing and monitoring customer information, known as GoTHoMIS, at the Budushi Health Centre. The initiative, situated within the Sumve ward of the Kwimba district, must be completed within 14 days.
Acknowledgment of Water Project Success
Furthermore, Hon. Mtanda expressed gratitude to the President of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for her significant contribution to the improvement of access to clean and safe water in Mhulya village. As a consequence of the recently constructed water project, the proportion of the population with access to clean water has risen from 40% to an impressive 90%. The project was completed at an estimated cost of Tshs. 667.1 million.

This directive, in conjunction with the successful water project, serves to illustrate the government’s commitment to the enhancement of public health infrastructure and essential services, as well as the improvement of the quality of life for residents in the Mwanza region.
