The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Kassim Majaliwa, leading the people to receive the new Boeing B737-9 Max aircraft which arrived at Julius Nyerere International Airport Terminal 1 at about 8:00 pm today, 26 March 2024.
The Tanzania Ambassador in the USA, Dr Elsie Sia Kanza attended the handover of the Boeing 737-9 max government aircraft at the Boeing offices in Seattle – Georgetown in the United States.
The Boeing 737-9 max is the second aircraft of this type purchased by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. The airplane is expected to provide a major boost to economic development, particularly in passenger transport to and from the African continent.
